Janet Warrington, Coach, said “It was a pleasure to coach these swimmers I personally really enjoy Open water swimming, but I also know it isn’t for everyone.  I am very proud of our swimmers today.  The water temperature was 20.6 degrees centigrade so no one was allowed to wear a wetsuit, but that didn’t deter any of them.  I really hope more club swimmers will try open water swimming and next year we will see swimmers from Hoddesdon and Cheshunt competing in the 3000m, 800m, 1500m and 5000m events from our clubs.”
